I’m Eric J. Valdes: a father, storyteller and independent creator.

Like many parents, I’ve spent countless hours watching my children’s imaginations turn ordinary moments into extraordinary adventures. Those moments inspired me to start creating stories and characters of my own.

Today I’m bringing those ideas to life through independently published children’s books, imaginative characters and creative activities designed to inspire the next generation of dreamers. My creative journey includes Rodney the Rockin’ Rhino and Mibblies, a world of lovable characters and cozy coloring adventures published under my pen name, Ollie Bloom.

Every book begins with an idea. But turning that idea into something families can hold, read, color and enjoy takes time, creativity and resources.
