Privacy policy

Last updated October 12, 2026

This site is run by Eric J. Valdes. I collect as little as I can, and I never sell your information.

Email signups

If you sign up for book news, I store your email address and (optionally) your first name with my email provider, Resend, only after you confirm by clicking the link I send. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. The list is for adults 18+; I don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Contributions

Contributions are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s own secure checkout pages. I never see or store your card details. Stripe shares with me what’s needed to record the payment (such as your name, email and the amount). See Stripe’s privacy policy.

Book links

“Buy on Amazon” buttons take you to Amazon, which has its own privacy policy.

Analytics

I may use privacy-friendly analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless, and Google Analytics with ad personalization and Google signals turned off) to count visits and see which posts bring people here. No names or email addresses are sent to analytics.
