Hi, I’m Eric.
I’m a father, a storyteller and an independent creator. I write picture books under my own name and make the Mibblies as Ollie Bloom.
Like many parents, I’ve spent countless hours watching my kids turn ordinary moments into extraordinary adventures. Those moments inspired me to start creating stories and characters of my own.
Today I’m bringing those ideas to life through independently published children’s books, imaginative characters and creative activities, made to inspire the next generation of dreamers.
Two worlds, one creator
Rodney the Rockin’ Rhino is my first picture book under my own name: a story about a rhino who loves to sing and dance, and who learns that sharing what makes you special can bring everyone together.
Mibblies is a world of cozy coloring adventures starring Mochi, Bubs and Puddle. I publish it under the pen name Ollie Bloom so the Mibblies can grow as their own brand at mibblies.co.
Why independent?
There’s no big publishing house behind these books. Just imagination, determination and a lot of late nights. Being independent means I get to make exactly the stories I believe in. It also means every reader, every share and every dollar of support really counts.
